The first Christmas song featured here yet it's kinda on the sad note, sorry it's just how I feel now that I am celebrating Christmas away from home. I kept reminding myself that Christmas isn't about me, but let me be just this one time (or a few more on the senti mode).

Jason Mraz will have another concert in the Phillipines TODAY October 30, 2011 at Araneta Coliseum in Cubao. His last concert in the country was 2 years ago.

If I were only in Phils, I would definitely watch this! I absolutely adore his songs.

I got an invite and a discount code for the Metallica World Magnetic Tour '11 in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

Why I won't go?

1. It's on a weekday night and Yas Island is around 1 and a half drive from our place.
2. I got the email on the same day of the concert, I could have made prior arrangement or feigned illness on the next day (but I already did it today)
3. Though I like Metallica I'm not a huge fan.

Music & ME Planning Stage

The problem with a new niche blog is you have to think of what and how it would be different from the rest. And more so if you have several blogs that your post jumbles up. But “the want” outscores any other problems or negativity. So here I am working on new themes and memes to make my Music & ME blog something old, new, borrowed and different. I told you my mind is jumbled.

I will make my Music&Meme every Wednesday because I will join Music Monday which will obviously be every Monday.

I thought of some themes and hope to follow

Sunday – Oldies But Goodies, songs from the 60s & 70s (and even earlier!)
Monday – Rhythm & Blues
Tuesday – Hard Rock
Wednesday – OPM, Original Pilipino Music (love your own mga kababayan ko!)
Thursday – Love Songs
Friday – New Wave
Saturday – FreeStyle, anything goes

I also have another meme in mind, A Shuffle A Day. I’ll put my iPod on Shuffle and the first thing that plays would be featured. A set of standard questions to be answered like how it relates to your mood, etc. As I’ve said it still is in the conceptualizing stage.
